My Time at Future Pathways

The First eight days at Future Pathways have been pretty good. I've been coming every day. It has help me cause I can get credits easier. I hope I'm able to graduate on time with my class from Lincoln. I plan to reach my goals of graduating on time by coming to class every day and working on the things I need to.

Curfew For Teens In Iowa

Curfew is being considered in Iowa because police have been getting more phone calls about gunfire. The curfew in Iowa City is going to be 16-and 17 year olds are banned from public places between midnight and 5 a.m. Some pros and cons about the new curfew is that a lot of parents let their kids hang out with friends untill 1 or 2 a.m. so more teenagers are going to be sneaking around just to get home. The good thing is it will help get kids off the streets.

Where i would want to live

If I couldn't live in Iowa anymore, i would choose to live in Austin, Texas. I have family members down there, and they always talk about how nice it is. I've never been there, but i would love to go. It might impact what i do for a living because i have to find a new job, and meet new people.

Overcoming Fear.

When I first got promoted to manager, I was scared that I wasn't going to do a job, and no one would respect me because how young I was. I was scared that I would mess everything up. I just talked to other managers and they gave me tips on what I should do, and how to do my job the right way so I wouldn't mess everything up. I learned how to do a lot of stuff that I didn't know how to do as a crew member. I learned that I can be a good leader.

 I picked this picture because its really sad. These people lost a lot of their stuff do to this storm. They have to do a lot just to regain their stuff.
